Ricco Lumpkins is a Grammy-nominated, award-winning, multi-platinum-selling producer, engineer, publisher, studio owner, DJ, and educator whose career spans more than two decades at the highest levels of the music and entertainment industries. Known for his versatility, musicality, and ability to bridge creative vision with technical precision, Lumpkins has contributed to some of the most influential artists and projects in contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and pop.

His production and engineering credits include work with iconic artists such as TLC, Whitney Houston, OutKast, Boyz II Men, Master P, Monica, Brandy, 112, Jon B., Ciara, Ludacris, and Akon, among many others. His work also extends into culturally impactful collaborations with Goodie Mob, Public Enemy, George Clinton, Mýa, and Lauryn Hill.

In addition to his work with major-label artists, Lumpkins has contributed to film and television, including music associated with the Kangaroo Jack soundtrack, and has played a key role in children’s entertainment through his work on CoComelon (Moonbug Entertainment), contributing to over 45 episodes with more than 4.65 billion global streams.

He has also held the position of Department Chair of Audio Technology at SAE Institute, where he played a pivotal role in shaping curriculum and mentoring the next generation of producers, engineers, and music business professionals.

Lumpkins holds a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business and a degree in Recording Arts, combining academic insight with real-world industry experience.
